Safiya Ellis (born November 9, 1991), is an aspiring American television personality and current participant in the search to become a co-host on BET's popular music video countdown show 106 & Park. Born and raised on the west-side of Detroit, Michigan, Safiya graduated from Southfield High School where she hosted the county's #1 daily radio show. At only 20 years old, Safiya is anticipating her junior year of college at the Prestigious Historically Black Hampton University and enjoying her summer internship at the Chicago based Rolling-Out Magazine as a writer.
